Both Elma and I are avid cooks and love our food a bit too much. Very rarely do we come across restaurant that tends to blow both our minds.

Last month, we went to Moncton and Elma had tried this place before and she wanted me to give it a try. Its a Korean family owned restaurant called Kimganae Korean Bbq. The atmosphere was pleasant and we were greeted by very friendly service.

We tried the Korean BBQ for two which was a very interesting meal as we were seated on a table that had an electric grill in the table. We started off with an appetizer which consisted of Dumplings, Spring rolls and something else that I could only describe as tempura covered seaweed rolls. We also had, what I would consider, the best Miso soup that I have ever had. It wasn’t too salty and the flavours were on point.

Now with the main meal, we were given slices of meat and chicken. Which we cooked, yes you read it right. We cooked our own meat on the grill, and this was perfect as both Elma and I cook our meat at different levels. They also provided some rice, vegetables and three amazing dipping sauces for us to wrap together and enjoy.

I think we found our other place to go when we are in Moncton. They do recommend to make reservations before you go. So here is a link to hit them up..
