After a week of spending time looking at my little lab rats (sorry Elma, Dad and Mom), they did this for the ensuite, hallway, basement’s living room too. Ahhh kids. So, I added sensors and smart bulbs in the other rooms as well to do what I did for the kitchen, and BAM! the lights took care of themselves, and no more running after them to turn off the lights… Classic Dad move on my part!

So now, instead of  our kitchen being a battleground of lights switches, we can argue about what to cook for dinner.  On the menu is my version of Beef Stir Fry.

This was easy to create, we started off by marinating the beef in soya sauce and black pepper. Cut up the vegetables that we wanted; celery, carrots, peppers and onions. Heated some oil to brown the ginger and garlic, then cooked our beef and once cooked added the vegetables with a dash of teriyaki sauce. Topped with Sesame seed oil and served over rice noodles. Tasted pretty good, if i have to say so myself. 😉
