Now that winter is over and I don’t have an excuse to keep dad and mom locked up in the house any longer and dad was complaining about how he hasn’t got his exercise yet, so I said challenge accepted.

Did some google-foo during the day and I found this beautiful trail called Vulture bluff trail, where we still hadn’t be to yet. From what I saw it was a hike and a nice one too. So to fulfill my father’s wishes I told him to pack his bag and wear his hiking boots, get a hold of mom and let’s go for a walk. To surprise him I didn’t tell him how small or big this walk is going to be but I did give him enough heads up that it’s going to be uphill. Good thing I had done some research and found out that it might be too much for Elma to handle, so we snuck out while she was alseep.

After parking on the side of the road and walking what felt like an eternity up a hill, we came across this beautiful view where we felt like we were flying with the Eagles and we could see them below us and slightly above us. The view was breathtaking and the walk was amazing Surprisingly, it did not tire them out as much as I expected. But you know what they say – What doesn’t break him will make him stronger and next time I’m going to take him for a bigger hike.

Just a few pictures from our walk below:
