Like every year, mom’s birthday comes along and we do something different. Oddly this year wasn’t that different from routine. Where a few days before her birthday, dad says “We need to do something unique and different”. These words normally put both Elma and I into thinking mode to see what we can do.

Mom isn’t a big fan of eating out, as she thinks it’s a waste of money especially when you can cook at home, so going out is never an option. Then what do we do, as mom is an amazing cook herself?

Thanks for TicTok and Instagram, Elma came across a charcuterie board that was made with some indian/pakistani things. So we had to try it out… We present to you the Chat-cuterie board. lol

This had:

  • Chat
  • Samosas
  • Bhel puri
  • Nuts
  • Dried fruits, and
  • Desi spiced turkey bowls

It was both fun to make and eat, and surprisingly very filling. Rest assured Mom now wants to make one herself. So stay tuned for whenever Mom makes her board.
