In all the years Mom and Dad have been to Canada, the one thing they did not experience is proper camping. So we decided to take them to New River Beach for two nights in May.

To say this was an experience for Dad and Mom was an understatement, the setup was fun where we have two tents going, and then also my hammock.

The first night however was not so much, it got cold really quickly and we had to teach Dad how to sleep on an air mattress and a sleeping bag. Apparently this was his first, hahaha. Mom and Elma had done all the meal prep, so we had kababs / chicken curry and rajma all set for the nights and for breakfast was all-mighty Costco stuff.

Who could deny the views of new river beach and notice the jackets on a beach!
