This May, I finally got to take a “Me” day. So, I took the opportunity to go see a waterfall that has been on my mind for a while. It’s called Mactaquac falls, and it was supposed to be around 10km of walking to the falls. My dumb ass thought that this is the one I wanted to go see on my day of relaxation.

The night before, I packed up my hiking bag with my hammock, book, my cooking gear, water, my favorite packet of Mr Noodles and my instant coffee. Charged up my drone and GoPro and got in the mindset for the walk.

Started off my walk in good weather and went on for an hour or so, then walking under the electric wires, instead of talking a left, which I found out much later on, I walked straight on into the woods. This is where I contemplated my desire to find this waterfall and I gave up and started to make my way back.

On the way back, I ran into another person, who then told me the right way to get to the falls and I was only 1km away from the car. Not wanting to do another 7km, I decided to go back to the car and come back next time. The map below shows my walking trail incase someone else wants to go find the one I couldn’t.

TLDR; 9km of walking and still couldn’t find the waterfall. 😔😔😔😔😔
